An Edixagon 50/2 ... apparently quite rare and supposedly made by Rodenstock ... needs a bit of cleaning

Looks like it may have six pieces of glass. Tessars are usually f2.8. Interesting.

The grab & go shelf.

The grab & go shelf. I propped out the Q a bit; that red dot with the FA 55 would be overkill in the real world. Having an f1.4 280mm telephoto in such a small package, however, is something I'm looking forward "grabbing" this weekend. Sans the red dot, of course. It will be the Q's maiden voyage.

Pentax K5IIs with O-GPS1 attached and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 ART on a Manfrotto 405 Geared tripod head.

With this set up I was able to get this Image of the night sky:

Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 @ 18mm f/1.8 ISO800 20s Astrotracer on.

I blogged about the film body with Kodak Retina Reflex IV and its lenses

Hin's Photo Corner: Schneider Kreuznach Xenar 45mm f/2.8 and Kodak Retina Reflex IV

And I have the Kodak Retina Reflex IV along with Schneider Xenon 50mm f/1.9 listed on ebay. Item number is 111444878947, please PM for the direct ebay link if you have interest.

Cheers,
Hin

I have not shot it unfortunately. The film body is a beauty but I do not know if the shutter timing is accurate. It has a leaf shutter on the back and it is fun to watch the blades in action. The body is close to mint in condition but I have my doubts if metering/shutter is accurate on this film body and hence I priced it mostly for the lens and the DKL adapter.

Cheers,
Hin

Test the slow speeds (1s, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8,), usually if those speeds are working and not sticking, then the shutter is working. Also, it is very common for the slow speeds to be too slow on old leaf shutters, they need regular servicing to keep the speeds accurate.

That is a great idea, I will check it tonight.

Thanks,
Hin

I guess this gear shot from my instagram (@asp_photos) qualifies as Gear P0rn. Took this before heading to a shoot yesterday (didn't bother to lay out the lenses which included my 20mm, 40mm, and 90mm Voigtlanders in addition to the Nokton on the K-5 IIs).
