I just received my P30t today. It's in a really good condition, looks almost new. The seller was nice enough to include 2 fresh cells. But I'm not sure I undestand how the metering system works. I put my 31mm lens on it to test it. From what I can make out of it, I can either use it in Av mode, Tv mode or TAv mode if the aperture and speed dials are bots on A. But how and where do I set the ISO? Cheers!!
Check this out ... Pentax P30t instruction manual, user manual

Minolta HI-Matic F with Minolta 20 flash
I like that Hi-Matic. I'm looking for the "7sII" variant at an affordable price.

Unfortunately, it's a DX-coded camera--it reads the ISO code from the film canister, and you can't change the ISO unless you tinker with the coding by changing the pattern of silver and black. There are instructions on the internet telling how to do that.

One of the few shortcomings of the P series cameras, lack of ISO adjustment, but hardly a serious lack. If they had fit a mechanical shutter into the P body, I would say it is better than an MX, but as much as I like the P30t and P3n that I have, my MX beats them because of the viewfinder, and mechanical shutter and view of shutterspeed and aperture settings. If they could have also fitted a match needle as well as the LED system, then the MX would have been perfect.

Here's a pic the P30t I just got with an FA50f1.4 (shot with my cellphone). Will take some better pictures when I get a chance. Thanks to everyone for your help by the way. This looks like a fun and challenging little camera.

FWIW, the P30T doesn't have a Tv mode, just Av, P, and M.
If you set the aperture ring to A, the camera defaults to P mode regardless of where the shutter dial is set, IIRC.
Great camera though.

Oh, my! That looks to be a significant amount of work and so very well done. Speechless.

Some new FREE Gear ---

An e-mail message was sent around my Club -- a Gent had some gear from his deceased Dad and listed it -- I was the first one to reply -- probably the ONLY one as it was all 'Old Film Gear' ---- well I met him and he produced a very dusty plastic box -- inside was all filthy but a 1982 vintage CONTAX RTS II Quartz, Yashica FR1 with lenses in dirty cases, winders, huge Contax 'real Time 540 flash' lots of cables, a Tamron 70-210 Zoom with both M42 and C/Y mounts etc -- I cleaned up cameras and lens surfaces and luckily NO FUNGUS and cases i wiped with Neatsfoot Oil -- I finally got the huge flash to work with 12 AA Batteries -- when I turned it on and pressed the 'test' button there was a huge 'CRACK' as it discharged -- probably for the first time in over 20 years !! Both cameras had a 'bang' -- Contax on corner near frame counter so it does not 'zero' any more and Yashica on pentaprism so frame counter stays at 'Start' but lenses are sharp at full aperture and the winders work -- I just need better MUSCLES to carry it all especially the Contax with flash !
