Tell me, Doctor, am I beyond saving? Should I fight it? or just let MCES take over my life?
HeavyCorPhotography, your MCES sounds very much like my CBA (that spread from what I initially thought was a harmless case of minor LBA). I've shot SLRs and digital bridge cameras for years and never had any problems. Then in 2012, I bought my first Pentax - the K5. Things were calm for the first six months, then an unfortunate accident with my kit lens prompted me to get my first walkabout DA 18-135. Things went downhill very quickly after that!
From posts similar to yours, I can only conclude that Pentax gear is like narcotics - once you've got your first hit, you need to keep coming back for more
. My latest hit came last weekend - a Spotmatic SP500, SuperTakumar 55mm F/2, Soligor 80-200mm F/3.5, Ilfolux PF1 Flash Gun and a bunch of other knick-knacks, all in Mint-condition, with original cases and manuals, for $50.
I think I may have to turn off my Wi-Fi router soon before the urge to look for my next hit surfaces...
