Nothing special ... just realized that I have acquired three SMC Tak 50/1.4. Maybe should sell one or two and buy some body caps

Plus a double set SP F, but the one on the right is meter inoperative.

The middle one has been CLA'd by Eric. Works great and the ES is being film tested now.

Today I received two cool lenses, unfortunately both slightly affected by fungus but I got them for a decent price, if I shoot and the pics are nice I'll keep them.

The first is a S-M-C Tak 50 mm macro with original box and papers.

Here on the SPF with the "barrel" extended:

Here you can find the fungus spot, that I hope I can clean.

The second is the mkII variant of the classic Canon FD 35 mm f2 superthorium, chrome nose, it's actually so dark that seeing through the finder it doesn't look like a warming filter but a proper yellow one.

Here you see the fungus on the concave element:

The pics of the Super A are on another thread.

Not much to complain about the F2 . . . but . . . if you don't like the look of the photomic viewfinder, the plain viewfinder does not have a meter.
Nice F2's. I have a pair-one chrome and one black. My DE-1 finder is black.

Ah, the EF. My first SLR, bought at the Army PX, Ft. Stewart, Georgia, sometime in '76, as I recall.

That EF looks in great shape and hopefully fully functional. Canon made some hefty models during that era!

Nothing special again ... picked up a meter inoperative KM-K55/1.8 combo from my thrift store for 5€ (on left) ... that now makes three K55/1.8 in the herd, thus time to move one or two along ... xpost

This KX belonged to my fiancee's dad. He bought it in '76 when they were living in England and kept it until he died in 2008. I didn't realize how dirty it was until I looked at the pics.

Wasn't the joke about Bronica, that they came fully equip with a tool kit for when they broke?
It sounds like the sort of rhetorical question from someone who was jealous. (or from a Hassy owner who was a snob!)
What was your experience?

That sounds like something born from brand snobbery
I own a Hasselblad, 2 Rolleiflexes, a Pentax 67 and 645, and this ETRSi is one of my favorite and most used cameras.
I haven't had even the slightest issue since getting it over a year ago, and over 25 rolls of film through it.
It's well made, inexpensive, easy to use, and capable of very good images.

I actually wouldn't mind having a Pentacon 6 with the Biometar 80/2.8 and a 120/2.8

I'm pretty set for medium format though...

My Bronica S2 developed a sticky mirror in about two years of light usage.

My Bronica S2 has worked flawlessly for the past 3 years, and it's never been serviced AFAIK.
