The stuff I used is bad for eyes, yes, but even bare skin is a problem, it pulls the oils out of skin almost immediately, and causes chemical burns very quickly. So yep, eye and skin protection is needed! I used a NAPA product.
Yeah, I forgot about the skin.

I never notice it though since whenever i'm in the garage my hands are usually soaked in oil, fuel, and all other stuff.

I use the brake clean to wash grease of my hands sometimes though...

Nice find and a great deal.

Last week I was talking to a friend that I only talk to a few times a year. He said he wanted a newer Pentax to replace his aging ME. So I picked up this SF1 and 28-80 for $40 at KEH. I told him I wanna try it out for a month or two and sell it to him for $30. He agreed. So here's my new "temporary" Pentax. It's really nice. The only thing I don't like is the longest shutter speed you can select in manual mode is 1 sec.

Posting pics of my new Zenobia 645. I LIKE this little gem, I note the serial number is too cool for school. #96960

The DOF scale is handy, and I use it a lot, with scale focus it really helps!

First roll was B&W, Ultrafine in Caffenol-C

Very cool! I just won a Franka Solida III at auction for a great price and am patiently awaiting it's arrival. 6x6 folder with a rather fast lens for those. Post more pics from your new one when you get them.

Nice! I prefer the TLR for 6x6. I also have the Agfa Billy record II, which I use for color 6x9 and a Franka Rolfix II that I use for B&W.

I will likely use this Zenobia for color mostly, I have a roll of Ektar 100 in it right now, but I might switch to Fuji 100 at some point. I hear the Fuji greens are better. I need to test that and see what I like.

Here is a unintentional double exposure with flash, last shot on first roll.

Would that be a Tempax?

Retina 1BS scarce as only about 13000 made 1962-3
The "S" in it's name likely refers to it being the 'Solid' version of the 1B folder model. Like the 1B, it has a coupled meter to a viewfinder needle but the camera is fully manual, without a rangefinder. However, dots appear in the upper viewfinder to indicate the distance zone you selected. I like this camera because it doesn't have the Light Value system of setting exposure, which can be restrictive of settings.

I have one of them, very nice camera. Somewhat chunkier than my Zeiss Ikon folders. I bought it for the flexibility of the viewfinder and the faster lens, and now it's my medium format camera for travel.

I took half a roll yesterday afternoon after familiarizing myself a little bit - I'm definitely liking this little guy and can't wait to see the results. Threw a roll of Provia 100F in it that I'll try and finish today. I'm not completely sure which model I've got... marked as the Solida III, but the viewing window fronts are small and circular and it has an uncoupled rangefinder suggesting it's a Solida IIIe I think... Not certain, but it's in great condition and even took a self-timer shot last night.

If it has a rangefinder I think it's a IIIe. Here's mine:

It does, but the rangefinder windows are small and round, rather than square (matching the composition window)... Here's a quick shot.

One more shot... I really can't get over (this is my first folder camera) how compact these are for MF. The first photo really makes the camera look far larger than it is, so here's one more with my Ricoh GR alongside for scale.
