...and I managed to drop my Kiev yesterday.

Landed hard on the lens, putting a significant dent in the filter ring of the Helios-103 I was using. Shutter still fires and the rangefinder's focus still seems good, but the focus lock at infinity no longer pops into place. Only finishing off the rest of the roll will let me know whether anything else took some damage.

Browsing around the usual auction site, I came across this little* Belarusian half-frame sitting at $1 with no bids. Decided why not, and several weeks later here it is. I don't really expect much from it, but for the price I can't complain.

(Unfortunately I shot this with my Pentacon 30/3.5, which tends to be very soft on half the frame. Hoped that stopping it down significantly would help, but apparently not. It's fine at smaller sizes, at least.)

* Well "little" in terms of physical size. In terms of weight, it's very Soviet.

Arrived yesterday to close out 2015 in a nice way ...

- a like-new K2 with case and a very nice M 35/2.8 (with its hard case, not shown) - this K2 is about the most pristine Pentax film SRL that I have now ...
- a nice M 100/2.8 with caps and hood ...
- a not-working-yet Agfa 200B flash and a very "retro" camera bag (dark tan/British Racing green/ Bordeaux red highlights) - both not shown ...

Overall a quite good deal for this kit and I will be sending the K2 to Eric H. soon ... xposted

Very nice. I like the M 35/2.8 I got recently. The M 100/2.8 I'm less fond of.

Here's a setup I was using this morning - SP1000 with SMC Tak 105/2.8
