BTW: here's the manual for the 90/2.8LS, if you don't have a copy: http://pentax67.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/SMCT-6X7_90LS.pdf

Wow. That's very kind ... and "oui".

I will send you a PM. Salut, J

Also, I just ran a roll of Ilford Delta 100 and home developed it. There was a horizontal scratch (near mid-frame) of most of the negative ... sometimes the scratch would lessen up and be gone. Maybe it was some debris that was shook loose during shipment, since I have looked careful at everything else inside and have found no apparent (to me) problem. I am going to run another roll with the 90/2.8 LS on it ... crossed fingers.

Also, the spacing seemed fine even on the tenth and final frame.

Here's a test image with the 75/4.5 one stop down ...

Must be something across the film gate. Check very carefully at the extreme right/left where the film comes off the reel and where it winds onto the next reel. If there are rollers (not sure if the 6X7 has these), check that they spin totally freely. Had a similar problem with one of my 35mm Pentax bodies, but don't remember what I eventually found.

a book and an Asahiflex

A few more p0rn items.

The very rare book, found it on a swedish auction site, paid approx 80USD for it. It looks brand new and never opened.

The other item I found was an Ashiflex of the latest model, second series of the IIB with the original Takumar 1:3.5 50mm (modell III). IIB is based on IIA, but lacking the slow speed dial. Its location is covered with a black lid. According to Gerjan van Oosten, it might be one of the rarest Asashi Pentax cameras, with around 5250 produced. I love the case, and the feel of this. Maybe it should visit Eric for a tune-up. He did a brilliant job on my Asahiflex IA. Anyone here with similar version of the Asahiflex IIA?

And does anyone know of a lens hood for this small lens?

Waiting for a mint black K with Zebra 55/1.8 but the seller has gone totally silent. I might have to hit the refund button.

My scratch problem with the new-to-me 6x7 seems to be gone ... maybe a piece of debris shaken loose by the postal shipment ...

6x7 + SMC Tak 67 90/2.8 LS wide open + 67 Helicoid at minimum distance & hand held @ 1/60 ... Ilford Delta 100 ... an experiment while taking a break in my office. A window sill shot ...

Another ... here LX + K 50/1.2 wide open + Ilford Delta 100 ...

Where did you come across the black K? Some sellers are not reliable.

Australia - has a perfect record. Text says black picture says silver - I expect it is silver. eBay won't let me claim refund until 03/24 but it isn't a problem.

The issue seems to be resolved. The camera is on its way. I had asked whether the camera is black but it is silver and I knew it. Looks beautiful.

Latest "collection" acquisitions ...

Remember that boxed black Spottie that I recently acquired? Well, the seller emailed me to say that he was selling off his Pentax collection, so I grabbed the four below after he sent me a few images. There were a few more SLR's, but I did not want to be greedy ...

- the ESII is the "worse cosmetically", but OK. No meter ... the SMC Tak 50/1.4 attached is excellent,
- the K2 is unmarked and looks like it has never been used and same for the K 50/1.4 ... the mirror bumper looks brand new,
- the black MX is very nice and seen some action due some minor brassing on the bottom and the M 50/2 is excellent,
- the black ME Super is unmarked and like new as well, even with the protection film on the bottom, but the K 55/1.8 has front element fungus (oh, well) ... the bumper looks new here, too.

All for 225€ total including registered postage. Not bad ... not bad.

A few more maybe for Eric soon, once I eliminate some non-Pentax gear to raise some cash ...

You forgot to mention something about my 6x7 ... apparently the 1/1000 speed works despite the seller's words otherwise.

I got curious and dry fired it at 1/1000 several times without any visible problem and also shot an image at 1/1000. A bit overexposed at infinity since I was at f/2.8 outside, but it was a quick second test roll ... the curtail seemed to function fine just like the dry fires ... go figure.
