Yes the Kiev helious is an excellent performer if it has not been mistreated.

Such an odd little camera that I genuinely have grown to love along with the *amazing* Helios that came with it - I hazrd to say that lens is the best bargain available *anywhere* from any year.... as long as (and this is the trick) you get a *good* one.
Got to love the Helios 103 53/1.8. It is a little prone to flare, but I like mine enough that I bought a Amadeo adapter ($$) just to allow use on my Bessa R3M. Even at the combined price point, better than other options.

I've been eyeing that for months since you posted it here in the PF.

Dr. Wöhler

I came across this little gem, a Dr. Wöhler Favor.

It is produced between WWI and WWII, in the French occupied region called Saar, now part of Germany. Dr. Wöhler only produced one series of 35-mm cameras, Favor, Favor I, Favor II, and Favor Auto.

Think it needs some cleaning of the aperture mechanisme but else it is seems fine.

Anyone here with any more info on this camera?

I recently took a gamble on a Shopgoodwill.com box of misc. cameras, and got an EOS A2E and the grip in lightly used condition, along with an 850 and a Minolta. 30 bucks for all three, The A2E is my AF film camera of choice now. So I now have to carry two bags were ever I go! A Canon bag for the A2E and AT-1 and a Pentax baf for the K-mount film camera(s) of the day and K-50.

Today I got two more goodwill boxes, one had a pristine, KSX Super, Vivitar 400 Flash, Sears 135, Sears 50/1.7 and a Sears 70-200 all like brand new, even the bumper and seals all for $15 with shipping! The other box has a Very good Ricoh XR-M with a KR zoom. Oh the AT-1 was my last goodwill box and it also came with three lens and looks like new.

So this month goodwill more than made up for the trash XR-7 and KSX last month.

I will try to post some photos of my finds tomorrow.

some of the more interesting normal lenses - I was looking at the effect of multi coating - and how well the de-yellowing had gone.

That looks like a late-model 4. I've a 4 with lugs but it has a shutter capping problem - other than that I love it. (But that's a big "other than")

I've a 4K, but I really don't care for the feel of it as much. The differences are minimal so I dunno what it is. It has a hole in the rubber backing of the curtain which I filled with liquid e-tape as best I could but still have not run another roll through it since. I really should.... except the R3m sorta got in the way.
