Nice, I used to shoot a lot of Ektachrome back in the 1990's, but in 135 format.

Post some pictures after you get it processed, hopefully the film was properly stored and holds up reasonably well.

Nice! I was literally looking for good deals on 120 Ektachrome 2 or 3 days ago. That was my dad's go-to (on 135 as Phil mentioned) and I've never shot it - would like to though.

I bought 5 rolls of this EPX a few years ago. I've shot two rolls so far and it's really nice film. It must have been well stored. It handles underexposure better than any other slide film that I've shot. I'll post a sample on the film shots thread.

This is my favorite lens, the Asahi Super Takumar 55 f1.8! I find it fiddly to use on a DSLR though

Very high tech Takes FD mount lenses though so, plenty of choice there.

I'm plenty of FD bodies (two F-1N, one F-1n, a FTbn, an A-1, a T90) but I always been fascinated by these old AF, they feel so 1985...like something taken out from Robotech saga.

It's quite noisy and the AF sounds exactly like the AF cameras on the helmets of the Colonial Marines of Aliens.

That's odd! I cross posted from Instagram. Does that not work?

and I was looking forward to a third picture of the tank crushing the old Canon...................

Just kidding, well sort of. The Canon AF looks boxy like the first Pentax AF series the SF.

Actually, there is a photo. If you right click on the broken link into a new tab, the url works. The url is apparently https://www.instagram.com/p/BEbBvvetc1F/ , and it doesn't work in a forum [ img ] tag. They have an "embed code", though, but it's full of javascript. They are apparently trying to stop folks from stealing the photos off of instagram. The source for the photo is also a javascript class. They cannot, however, stop a screen grab. Here it is:

What you posted was the link to the page and not the image -> My Asahi super takumar 55mm f/1.8

To embed the image, you will have to inspect the page source and find the instagram image link -> https://instagram.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/t51.2885-15/e35/12677241_10882930778...21030213_n.jpg and that one you can embed inline with your text as shown below.
