Nice. I've lusted after an F100 for quite a while now. Good to see someone else here from Edinburgh.

As far as I know, and I'm pretty sure, that is correct. Before that - no MLU, after that - the LX, but not completely manual.
Spotmatics had MLU but had to be specially ordered with it, they are very rare. Spotmatics with MLU can be spotted by the meter switch being mirrored on the other side of the lens mount, with the right-hand switch for locking up the mirror.

I used to have one, but it stopped working 65 million years ago.

Well, then it got that right, too.

Some gearporn. Had two frames left on this roll, so decided to shoot a pair of my fast-50s using my other fast-50. (And yes, there's a corresponding shot of the taking camera; but it's not going to be ready until next week at the earliest.)

Spotmatic II.
Super-Takumar 50mm f1.4. (8-element.)
JCH Streetpan 400.

Pleasant grain. Nice tonality. Haven't tested out the extended red sensitivity yet. Don't think it will become my regular B&W due to price — Ilford's still a bit cheaper for me — but I'll certainly be using it again. My best results look to have been exposing it a bit under 400 ISO. (If it's the emulsion that it's rumoured to be in some quarters, it was originally sold as a 200-500 ISO film.)

That said, I wasn't entirely satisfied with how it pushed. May have to try another roll to see if that was the result of bad development or a shortcoming of the emulsion, but at the moment doesn't look like it will be replacing HP5+ as my Neopan replacement.

HP5 is my go-to push film. I've tried Tri-X as well as most have with similar results, but HP5 is just a bit better.

What developer do you use with HP5 for push processing? I use Xtol.

October Big Purchase

Didn't buy the Tamron Adaptall-2 52BB as I figured out I don't need a lens like this soon.

I have been waiting for my MINT ME SE to return from Eric's shop. It was waiting for me when I got home from work today so here is the family. All of this has been acquired within about the past 6 weeks and I now have an SV on the way and about to pull the trigger on a K. Without further adieu...

That's an ME Super with a 50mm f1.7 SMC M and winder, black MX with 75-150mm f 4, Russian 500mm f8 mirror, ME SE with 50mm f2.0, Super Takumar 300mm f4, MX with 35-70mm f4 SMC A, and 200mm f4 SMC M.

Hi, how do you like that aftermarket adaptall mount? I bought two M42 mounts and they weren't very good, too stiff to put on. And also, does the camera with this lens and mount work as if it was a M42 lens?

The Fotasy ones look so far so good. I got it here.

There is no aperture coupling, so the lens functions just like a M42 lens. As my both Adaptall-2 lenses has an aperture of f2.5 (01B & 02BB), this actually makes my life easier as I don't have to do a mount mod like on the official KA adapters, or do green button on the official KM adapters.
