Oh, I don't know. Just think of the Guide Number if you fired them all at the same time!

For illuminating the Grand Canyon at 1AM on a moonless night? Would not come close to enough flash power. BTW, have you ever seen some of the "big shot" images taken back in late 40'1 through 50's promoted, as I recall, by Sylvania to promote their flash bulbs? Probably the most famous was a big horseshoe bend along the PRR line.

Maybe not, but here's a guy that shoots surfers with an eight flash setup:

It leaves you with questions about which of them to trust, I suppose I don't have nearly as many, just two GE Selenium reflective meters, an incident/flash/reflective meter (visible in the bronica pic) and a Pentax spotmeter. I don't really need anything more.

That's kinda awesome, and it's nice to know that simply using more flashes works as one might expect!

A friend lent me this a few weeks back. I've shot one roll so far, which led to finding a pretty major light leak. I now have to figure out whether it does that to the owner as well, or whether I've buggered up something with his camera. If I can get it sorted, it looks like one could do some serious work with this lens. (I was easily examining pores in a portrait I did on this roll ... but only the 1/8 of the face that wasn't obliterated by the light leak.)

By the way, this camera is fexxxing huge.

A local store had one of those I was hemming and hawing over. I recently discovered that the store went out of business, I likely missed a chance to pick it up cheap.

That is not a "leak." it's a flood.

Nikon camera sells for 384,000 Euros at auction:

384,000 Euro for the earliest Nikon camera

A Nikon One climbed from 90,000 to 384,000 Euro, the highest price ever paid for a camera from the long-standing Japanese manufacturer at an auction. The world record was achieved at the 30th Camera Auction in WestLicht’s 15th year. The record lot is the earliest known surviving example of a Nikon camera in the world, manufactured in April 1948 as the third ever serially produced camera by Nikon. This was also an early birthday present for Nikon company, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2017.

Thanks for sharing! Steve Gandy's Cameraquest Site has a nice article on the Nikon One and its lens system...

WOOOOHOOOO!!! My amazing wife just authorized this eBay purchase as my "big" Christmas gift! This really is the best LX I've seen for $300 and I can't wait until Christmas now. And no, she won't let me touch it until I unwrap it on Christmas morning.

---------- Post added 12-03-16 at 09:45 PM ----------

Now I just need to find a grip, strap lugs, and a nice 50mm f1.2 to go with it.

Sounds like she's a keeper . . .
Of course you can tell her these cameras need to be exercised regularly and you need to practice using it so you'll be prepared for any Christmas photo ops!

I like the way you think. I will actually explain to her the importance of ensuring that it functions as advertised before I lose the opportunity to dispute the sale if there are problems. I'll probably run a roll thru it the day it arrives.

My first thoughts exactly. Pictures make it look like a prime LX but you really never know and have to find out if it is as described.
