Playing around with the new to me M 85/2. Looking for things to try it out on. I thought what would be better than cameras to test out a new lens.
Looks like a winner

I agree. I'm having a blast playing with the manual stuff again.

Here's an interesting new addition:

Ricoh Auto Half SE
This 1967 half-frame camera used a novel hand wound spring loaded film advance, which functions like a primitive motor drive.
Lens is a fixed focus 25mm f/2.8, so basically a normal on half-frame.
Aperture can either be manually set to one of three settings or automatically controlled by the selenium cell meter.
The Ricoh Super Shot I just acquired has the same sort of spring-wound film advance...but I have to use a battery

Black is so nice Your SL looks good. The SL's are somewhat forgotten, people tend to talk about Spotties or some of the other "high end" bodies.

Three M42 Fujinon lenses: 1:1.8/55, 1:4.5/200 and 1:2.8/100, taken with Voigtländer Macro Apo-Lanthar 125mm F 2.5 SL at f/4, Pentax K-1 in Pixel Shift mode. All very nice and serious competition for my Takumars.

As part of a three camera bag acquisition at my thrift shop yesterday, I picked up these two plus three pristine K lenses : a 28/3.5, a 50/1.4 & a 135/2.5 (xpost)

Not only are Minolta SRT cameras wonderful to use, they're also beautiful.

I thought I loved the SMC Pentax 1:3.5 28mm as much as anyone, but Boris_Akunin has me beat -- three copies!
