Nice LX set-up. I have a Pentax-branded case like that which has sat on top of a shelf unit unused for an age. I found carrying a shoulder bag or back-pack much more practical for carrying gear about, and a set of CD shelves in the hall for putting the gear in I am not using. I still don't want to get rid of the case though! I should think of a good use for it. Maybe all the little bits and pieces that I never know what to do with like filters.
Back in a former life when I was a camera dealer, I collected cases as I bought outfits. With the exception of a couple of Halliburton cases, I've never sold any of them. So as a result, I probably have a dozen of them -- all shapes and sizes. I collected camera bags from buying outfits as well and never sold any of them. I probably have well over twenty. Some of the bags I still use for their intended purposes. Depending on the outfit I choose to set out with, this will determine which bag or bags I will take. But I don't do this with cases. And as you have suggested, I have re-purposed several of them. The rest just sit around, empty, waiting for me to figure out a use for them.

Not a problem. Use the bags to hold... other bags.

I didn’t know Brian had quit refinishing lenses.
Apparently so. I received a strange reply to my last request, and none of my follow-ups were answered, so I finally took the hint.

So, nobody is filling in the niche then? That's too bad... I wanted to get some more of my lenses done.

Is anyone else seeing a page 352 and 353 to this thread that they can't access?

I'm on page 351 of 359. Something strange is happening here.

Yes, I saw that yesterday and decided to wait until today to see if it fixed itself, but still the same. I've opened a topic in the help forum.

Gear p0rn thread can't be accessed beyond page 351 - PentaxForums.com

I don't think there's anything posted on those ghost pages listed at the top of this page (= page 352 and higher). There's no break in the numbering sequence for posts (upper right of each individual post).

Yeah, Wpresto, I agree. I also noticed this yesterday and, after trying a few different ways to access the missing pages, I just gave up. Especially since there didn't seem to be any missing posts.

Perhaps there have been enough posts deleted in this thread that there are the equivalent of two pages missing?

(Just a thought from having to implement pagination on web apps.)

A couple of Takumars, but not on Pentax cameras. Takumar 75/3.5 on Press Van strut folder and T-Takumar 75/3.5 on Minesix drop bed folder. Both cameras use 120 film, but the Press Van also had the option of 35mm with special reels (sadly missing on my camera) while the Minesix gave you the option of 6x4.5 or 6x6.

I am extremely jealous. I've been looking for decently priced working versions of either of those for a while, but have never had any luck — and here you have both!

I had no idea that there were MF format folders with Takumar lenses on them

Do those pre-date the Pentax 67?
