These remind me of my first 35mm camera:
The Stereo Realist was very popular in the 1950s, and is all my dad used for 30 years. I have his Kodachrome slides now. So when I was in high school he gave me a Realist also.
The RF and VF eyepieces were at the bottom of the camera, so you used it pressed against your forehead, which made it very steady. They were quite well made, and focused by moving the film plane instead of the lenses.
Dad quit using his when Kodachrome 25 ceased. These took vertical images, slightly larger than half-frame, so needed very fine grain film. I might try some Velvia while it is still available.
