Picked up at the local flea market. While the Kilfitt-Makro-Kilar name is a clue that this was designed by Heinz Kilfitt of Robot fame, it wasn't produced by his Munich factory. Instead, it was one of two Kilfitt lenses produced in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The other being the Makro-Kilar E, which differed from the D in that it only went down to 1:1.2 instead of 1:1.1.
Near as I can tell, these are also the only lenses that Kamerabau Anstalt Vaduz produced — and possibly even the only lenses produced in Liechtenstein. The 2.8 aperture dates this lens to no earlier than 1956, as the versions produced in 1955 had a maximum aperture of f3.5.

The OM bodies always throw me for a loop when I see them, as it takes me a moment to remember that the shutter controls are on the lens mount. And during that brief moment before I remember I'm left going "1/1600? What?"
