Nothing as exotic as most, but I'll play.

Artsy picture front to back:
Olympus OM-1
Fujica ST701
Pentax K1000
Pentax SP1000
Mamiya/Sekor 1000DTL
Yashica TL Electro X
The picture doesn't really do justice to the difference in size between the Olympus and the Yashica.

Olympus OM-1
Great looking lot! Hope they function as well as they look!

I haven't bought any Pentaxes lately, but I did pick up another Minolta XD-11 for a great price the other day. The unremarkable Vivitar zoom was basically a body cap for the camera. I already own an XD-11, but couldn't let this one just sit there at such a low price. It shows dirt and smudges in the photo, but cleaned up nicely.
I also have a soft spot for the XD-11. It is such as smooth operator!

Finally tha last in the gang arrived.

Black Asahi Pentax is my passion, and finally getting a hold of the black AP makes me smile. Just need to find the correct lens (which I think is going to be really hard...)

Which do you prefer? Chrome or black?
Getting a black AP would definitely put a smile on my face too!

I prefer both if I can have them . . .

Or titanium . . .

Brass?

Thanks. They all function, but I haven’t run film through all of them. The ones I have worked great. At some point I need to CLA.

So you just go with one of the chrome ones or the LX?

-Eric
Nah, I haven’t sprung for an LX (nice though they are.). My black Pentax is a original Spotmatic SP.*

* well technically, my plastic pentaxes are black—MZ-S and PZ-1p. And my Pentax 67 is black but those don’t count because either chrome wasn’t available or it was a rare plastic chrome look which doesn’t really look chrome.

It's only authentic if it's finished in snakeskin with an eagle engraved on the top plate.

I use it as much I can to try to get better results. Cross posted from 300mm lens club.

A solid walk around lens if I've ever seen one.

Very nice, Dukatigaz. May I ask, what film did you use for the falcon shot?
