I was going to say something silly about mirrorless cameras, but you’ve got a tiny little mirror there...

I love those old folders.

Well, I'm sure that 'tiny little mirror' is quite large enough for the task, thank you!

My local store is the regional retailer for the Ilford ULF program, and I wish I could find the photo one of the lab techs took when the latest order for it came in in: it's of another customer's box of 11x14 FP4+, and sitting on top of it is my tiny little box of 2.25x3.25.

I received a decent amount of ribbing about how it was supposed to be the "Ultra Large Format" program when I went to pick this up.

That’s the speed of the film.

It’s 2.25” by 3.25” sheet film.
There are a bunch of cameras from the 1950s-ish that used it natively or could be adapted to use it.

Yep. I'd say that most 2.25 x 3.25 sheet film cameras can be adapted to shoot 6x9 on 120 film with varying levels of ease, but truth be told I've found I prefer working with sheet film when possible.

Though it does have the disadvantage of being a bit bulkier in the bag & not being reloadable outside a darkroom.

Found this K 55/2 last week for a whopping $25. Perfect companion for my black KM.

Around here, and in many ads I saw at the time, the K55/2 was mated to the early K1000 bodies and the K55/1.8 was usually packaged with the KM. It certainly could have been mixed and matched in individual stores though which was not uncommon.

That's a gorgeous looking OM*!

I just picked up an OM1n with a Zuiko 50/f1.4. First time I've used a 35mm Olympus SLR

*I just read through the other thread, you did an amazing job cleaning it up!

Yep the K55/2 was the cheaper kit lens for the first K1000 (MIJ) cameras. Neither were available when I got my KX, so I ended up with the K55/1.8. (The K50/1.4 & K50/1.2 were too expensive for me at the time.)

Thanks,
I loved that camera. When I bought my MX, the cameras I looked at were the MX, OM-1 and the Nikon FM. I went Pentax for the price. Years later I picked up the OM-1n with the 1.8 and winder. I've since sold it, but always though it was a great camera.

Yes, the 55/2 was (AFAIK) originally only ever sold as a kit with the first version of the K1000.
It still makes a great combo with the KM though

Thanks,
I used a well-worn one of these on the high school yearbook, great camera.

Picked up a Petri 7s. I like the general handling of the camera, very simple and straightforward, though the rangefinder patch isn't very high contrast. I wonder if a cleaning would help that. Was happy to buy this from someone who actually used it, as opposed to random sellers online who just pick up cameras at estate sales and sell them untested. The light meter seems slightly inaccurate when compared to my iPhone light meter app, though I shot a couple examples following the light meter's recommendation and the photos turned out okay if slightly underexposed. Looking forward to experimenting more with it.
