I have about 3/4 of the items in that case. Just for interest sake, what is the one lens shown?

Haha given the state of the kit, all very lightly used or seemingly not used at all, I'd say what is in the case is what came with it when new from the factory - I'm fine with the battery pack M :-)

I love the fact the case - which is in amazing shape - has all the cutouts for the accessories. It even has the diopter adjustment tool - I've never seen one of them before!

The person I bought it from inherited it from an uncle over 20 years ago - I believe it was never used in that time. I won't tell you what I paid for it as I don't want to make grown men cry...

I've put one of my other LX's in the appropriate space - Looks like alI I need is an FF-1 viewfinder and a few focus screens to complete the kit.

I can only find one reference to such a case online - if anyone has any more information I'd love to see it.

Asahi: Pentax LX (presentation case) Price Guide: estimate a camera value
It looks like your kit is even more complete than the one you linked to, you have both types of flashes and both types of data backs (dial and clock). You have both the winder and MD, and two types of battery packs for the MD.

It is really cool.

The kit you linked to was part of a large kit, with 10 lenses and other accessories not shown in the case. I found the original auction: https://www.artfoxlive.com/product/689828.html

1800€ was not expensive for such a massive kit.

In my purchase, a 50mm f1.4 in mint condition. I have now put a 50mm f1.2 and 28mm in the lens spaces.

I had no idea that existed, never heard of it before. An 80mm f/2 on medium format?? Yes please.

Which is it? Looks like a wide angle. The 55mm and 75mm lenses are also superb.

Very nice. Those things are not that common, from what I've seen.

If there is an A*135/1.8 included, it's worth more on its own than 1800€.

I am guessing that such cases were meant for sales demonstrations. I cannot imagine anyone would need to buy all that kit (other than as a collectors item of course). For example you would not need the winder if you also had the motor drive, you would not need both the AF-1 and AF-2 viewfinders, and you would not need the plastic grip if you were going to carve your own wooden one! - you would prefer one or the other.

What is the item to the left of the AF400T flash? It's shoulder battery pack? I notice that in the one for sale in the CollectBlend link there is a hot shoe grip in that place. As a matter of interest, does the NiCad battery pack(s) still hold charge after 40 years?

I would agree it is a demonstration / presentation kit. The wider and the motor drive, and two grips, make more sense if there is a second body in the appropriate spot - see my picture to see what the set looks like now. The lack of FF-1 viewfinder needs addressed!

The pack to the left is the TR power pack for the flash. I also have the hot shoe grip, but the power pack fits nicely so It'll stay there.

I'm planning to try charging the battery pack to see, maybe this weekend. I doubt it, but that does not concern me much as i have one that does hold a charge.

I do wonder what this round translucent plastic piece is that came in a Pentax pouch? Anyone have any ideas?

Tripod spacer in case yours has a longer than recommended length. They were supplied with quite a few cameras (although not in the fancy pouch which I suspect might have held something else originally). Here is one that came with my boxed MV.

interesting, thanks for sharing.

It fits perfectly in the pouch, I'd guess as this was a presentation kit they wanted everything to look top notch.
