Recently acquired Voigtlander Bessa T and Ultron 50mm f1.5. A nice mix of old and new. The Kontur viewfinder I have had since about 1981, when I inherited my grandfathers Vito IIa.

A friend has an MX with an M 40 f2.8 lens so I asked him to bring it along to our meeting for a shot with my latest acquisition, the GRiiix (they are distant cousins after all) .
It's still practicing covid restrictions

The last addition to my collection arrived this week after beeing covid-stuck in Leeds for almost 2 years.

As you all know, this Penta Asahiflex H2 was one of the many lables found on the early cameras from Asahi Opt. Co, due to, in this case, copyright problems in some markets. Now I need to find a Asahi Pentar H2.... (yes, Pentar, so wish me luck!)

PS: Not to forget: Asahi Pentar K, and Tower 29...

I didn't ! I thought the Asahiflex name was only on the original 37mm cameras

I'm not sure why, but I can't see any of your photos when I'm logged in on Chrome (everyone else's show up fine). No issue with Firefox...

It's a Chrome thing. You have to tweak Chrome's security settings for the fora. I had instructions but Google keep moving where it is around making it increasingly hard to find.

Here's my contribution:

Pentax 6x7 (taken last fall with my Fuji X-T4 and Fujinon XF 18mm f/1.4) and my recently acquired LX (with uncommon FA-2 finder and equally uncommon SMC Pentax-A 35mm f/2).

The FA-2 finder is lovely looking. If I didn't need the extra adjustment the FA-1W gives me, I'd have it on the camera most of the time.

Very nice.

Strangely, I don't think I'd ever seen an A 35/2 for sale anywhere in Spain. One appeared last year and I grabbed it. It's by far the most I've ever spent on a manual lens but it's in mint condition with case so I don't mind. A few weeks later another appeared, and is still there, at less than half what I paid, but it has a PK to EOS adapter on it so I assume the aperture lever has been butchered.

Vito and his friend Hawkeye (cross-posted in vintage)

A first-gen (no flash) Brownie Hawkeye and a first-gen (but post-war) Voigtlander Vito.

The Hawkeye was dirty when I got it, but it cleaned up nicely. It's amazing the difference in the viewfinder...
And it did pop open when I was shooting a test roll but hopefully I'll get something out of it. 120 loaded and shot fine.

The Vito has suffered an "incident" at some point in its life. The shutter release got jammed into the shutter ring, and the whole thing was jammed.
I've heard really good things about the Skopar (uncoated though it is), so I hope I can figure out how to get the shutter apart to clean it.
