Hi - I am also considering a PZ-70.

I was doing something wrong with the search function, as I tried a variety of ways to look for pz-70, pz, and 70 and it didn't work.

After 10 pages of looking by hand, I found your starter thread.

In the lens reviews, the F series 35-80 lens didn't do very well. The FA version did not have reviews, or I missed it somehow - which is entirely possible.

Based on Ole's lens compatible database, I think the FA lenses will work on the modern digitals as well. Useful for my wife's goal of getting a DSLR.

I am not sure that I will use the AE or AF anyway - never have before with film.

Well, you snooze, you loose. Dang - missed out on a nice one.

I suppose I should be happy that someone saved me the cost of buying it and CLA. Oh well - at least someone got a nice camera.
