I just ordered a copy as well, it's one Pentax book that I currently do not have.

Just this week received a Shipman book - very cheap and great value - lots of technical information on Technique and theory but all using Pentax equipment - Great recommendation.

This edition has the ES II up to the ME - 10 bodies featured in all. "How to Select and Use Pentax SLR Cameras" Carl Shipman 1977 HPBooks
$7.95 originally in Paperback which is about what I paid for this second hand copy

Yep that's a good one as well, one of the first Pentax books I purchased.

I like the Shipman books and always buy them when I see them in charity shops and yard sales, even if I haven't got that particular type of camera.

I've got the 1984 edition of that book that's looking for a home (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/photographic-equipment-sale/227419-sale-cheap-odds-ends.html).
