Modern flash for the Super Program

Hi, any idea if the modern flash that do not have sensors like the AF200FG will work on the Super Program?

Yes. Currently produced Pentax flash units support TTL as well as PTTL and the Super Program is supported.

thanks, i'm not familiar with newer flashes. For cameras of its time, all the flash exposure is determined by the sensor in the flash. New flashes don't have sensor. Would it know how to expose? The af200fg manual did not mention anything on compatibility with older models.

Your Super Program supports TTL flash as one of its prime features. The camera manual is available HERE and provides instructions as well as a matrix showing compatibility with flash units of the time.

To use with your AF200FG, follow the instructions in the camera manual for TTL flash.
