I thought I didn't want a Maxxum 9, or an MX, or an OM-2 anymore....
unless one owns an MX, one will always want an MX.

Hey Guys. I am really digging this ME-F i got from Chris.
That focus confirmation is really cool. Today I spent some time with it on a tri pod and my Cosina 55F/1.2 and was checking it against the split screen and seems spot on. I dropped off the roll today. Will post some pics up tomorrow...This 55 looks so right on this body!

I love my K1000. As far as 35mm goes, it's my favorite. It's a tank and I've learned to trust it.

Spotmatic

Hey guys, and Gals

Wife just called from a yard sale and we bought a Spotmatic with 55mm f1.8 and a vivitar series I 70-110 with extender. Kinda impatient to see what we got! She is not a camera person as such, but said it looks good. It is in a never-ready case that is not nice.

Spotmatic

Update:

Super nice Spotmatic F, with 55mm f 1.8 SMC Tacumar, with the orig (I think) Asahi Pentax L39(uv) filter in place. The front of the lense is like factory new under the filter. This came with the Vivitar Series I f 3.5 70-210mm macro. The Vivitar looks almost nib. It also came with the tel-converter. $60.00 for it all. At another yard sale, another box of old konica stuff found an old GE light meter. Good wife, Good day. Now I fully understand why some folks sound kinda' lovesick when the word "Spotty" is uttered. I'm not there yet, but I LIKE it.

What is the serial number on the Vivitar zoom? Some of these are considered to be classics and are highly desirable...

My favourites would be:
1. MZ-S
2. PZ-1 SE
3. Super A

My son is now into photography as well and HE wants the PZ-1 SE.
