Me Super Question

In pictures of the ME Super online I noticed that some have an Asahi symbol on the front of the prism. Some do not. Does anyone know anything about which ME Supers have the symbol and which ones don't? Could it be just the quality of the picture? Thank you for any ideas.

If by symbol you mean AOCo (Asahi Optical Co) then it is my understanding that it was dropped with the release of the ME Super. So if you find an Me Super with it, then it could be rare and desirable.

I have a ME that still has those markings, but I have never seen a MESuper with them.
I guess it was the time when they changed some corporate names.....

It seems this has been discussed a few times around here
