Pentax MZ6 - any way to stop auto rewind?

I was trying out an MZ6 as I'm looking to use it with a few if my DA lenses and I read that it has the metal gear for the mirror (so won't have to worry about it breaking).

However, two things I noticed - a) the film advance is quite loud and b) the rewind is automatic and loud. I shoot in quiet situations and that to me is not something I can use...

Anyway to stop the auto rewind so I can jam it in a bag before it rewinds?
