Pentax SF-10 and Vivitar 550FD -- Will TTL work?

I have a Vivitar 550FD, M/P/O (Minolta/Pentax/Olympus version). The flash has a TTL switch. I know this won't do squat on my K-x, K-30, or K-01, but will it work correctly on my SF-10 film SLR? No way to test without wasting a roll of T-Max, so I'm hoping someone has experience with the SF-10 and TTL flashes.

Thanks!

Charles.
