Rare Pentax Z-5p pics

Before a year someone asked me for Pentax z-5p pics ( I think it was Adam the admin ) . I know I am really late but I had been extremely busy the last year ( plus health problems )

So there you go .... the extremely rare limited edition Japan only z-5p . I bought it from a Japanese lady in London for 20 british pounds ( thank you Japanese lady )

I usually use it with velvia and 55mm f/1.2 or helios 44-2 58/2 . Sometimes I use it with the DA18-55mm and the pentax DFA 50mm macro . It's a really good camera , practically the same as the z1p without the programmable custom functions .

Interesting camera, we tend to ignore the great cameras from this era. The style has gone out of fashion, but they were very advanced film cameras. I love the 44-2, one of my favorites.

Great camera .. I love and constantly use my two Z1p and truly can;t see how their 'style have gone out of fashion' - as per earlier comment - I know preferences are undisputable but still - I simple love the way this camera handles - and the only complaint I have is lack of separate AF button as in K10D is.. which I use and prefer than shutter button. Apart from that : the substantial grip , robustness of build and the smoothness with which this cameras works are simple timeless ! And with the grip the handling and the look even more improves !
I just finished a roll of Ektar yesterday in one, and another one I have to finish a roll of Velvia 50 ... great to see another one still in service somewhere --manntax

Cool! You should set that baby in front of a white background and take some "product photography" type shots

Absolutely correct on it's similarity to the PZ-1p. Very cool.

Thanks for the pics! I've now added them to the database entry.
