A roll of TMAX 400 is already locked and ready. Tomorrow I will go buy some batteries and shoot at least a roll to check if it is working properly
Pictures will then hopefully follow soon.

Haha, thanks. I would not even dare calling it unboxing, the whole process (taking the pictures and putting them onto the PC) took about 20 seconds, because I was so eager to get it over with so I could play with the camera :-P

Man, this thing is tiny! And cute!
I can't wait to fire a roll through it...

Having no idea... is this something special? I saw that MagicMike was offering both silver versions and this black one, and just went with this one since I liked it better (and my K1000SE was silver already).

These days the silver ones are the special editions, in those days the consumer were silver, and the one's like yours were the "professional" black versions. Like today, I don't think there was any real difference.

I usually choose silver "chrome" bodies as they show finish wear less, but the ME is a real looker in black.
Used black ME and ME Super bodies are far less common than silver, and usually cost a bit more.

Enjoy your new camera!
