MX uses a SC-1 screen for normal split and micro-prism and I had an MX once with a SC-21 installed and it did cause a slight focusing error.

Thanks a lot for replies.
Yes, it is normal split and micro-prism screen. Doesn't look like it was altered. I will try to check the projected image on screen but since it focus offset is small, it may appeared focused properly in small projected image on the tape. Wil post it once I try it.

- While you are at it, you can place your targets at known distances from focal plane and check the calibration of the focus ring scale against the ground glass image.
How to do the adjust for the mirror and/or focus screen shims is another matter.
One quick question...What is the condition of the film door pressure plate? Is it holding the film flat?
Steve
pressure plate appears to be fine
