Rechargeable button cells?

Are there any good rechargeable versions of the 1.5V S76/M76/AG13 cell that the K and M cameras use? Thanks!

I have never heard of any. The silver cells are not particularly expensive and can last for several years in most cameras with moderate use.

I don't think anyone makes a button cell to be rechargeable. Rechargeable batteries put out a lower voltage anyway, and the mass of a button cell is so small that you just wouldn't get enough juice out of it for any length of time.

I second the recommendation for silver button cells for use in a camera. They deliver their voltage consistently over their lifespan, unlike alkalines.

I can't say I've heard of any. Just go with a silver cell or even a lithium cell. I've got some lithium cells that're over a decade old with a good charge.

Never heard of that either, but honestly as long as they last I'm not sure why it would ever be necessary.

I know that there was a rechargeable battery found in an old K mount camera made by Ricoh back in the early 80's. The camera was called the Ricoh XR-S. It had a solar panel on the side of the viewfinder that would charge a battery the same size as a LR44.
They called it a Ricoh Battery S.

I don't know if that information helps, but it might be useful to help you track something equivalent down.
Best of luck!
