I would like to remove the viewfinder on my PENTAX LX, but the viewfinder release lever can't turn even though the central button was pressed. It seems to be stuck. Any idea to remove the viewfinder?

The center button is to release the exposure compensation wheel only.
I know that if I am trying to pull the viewfinder out before actuating the lever that it will seem stuck so make sure the VF is all the way forward before turning the lever to release it.

Yes! It works! I push VF forward and then turn the lever.
