What's the cheapest place to buy bulk rolls of film?

I'm partial to Illford HP5 Plus, but I'm open to others.

Thanks in advance!

BHphoto has great film prices. I'm not sure about the best.

In the Los Angeles area Freestyle used to have the best prices on bulk rolls, but they also would sell expired stock. It was properly cold stored so usually it was perfectly ok for the student or amateur to use. It has probably been a good 25-30 years since I've bought a bulk roll so I couldn't give any meaningful advice.

I buy from Freestyle...

Film | Freestyle Photographic Supplies[]=57-331

As for the expired stock...Yes, they do sometimes sell short-dated or expired, but ALWAYS explicitly say so in the item listing.

The last time I bought HP5+ in bulk the best price was BHPhoto. And compared with TriX prices it is VERY good.

Otherwise I shop around. Sometimes EBay is a pretty good source if you are not worried about working with expired films. Most of my bulk T-Max 100 comes in bulk from EBay but even that was climbing a bit the last time I picked up a roll.

Freestyle is a very good source if you are OK with their Arista store brands. If you are looking for good films at a very low price it is very tough to beat the Arista EDU Ultra films, which are re-branded FOMA film. I love their Arista EDU Ultra 400 which I buy bulk, or on sale in 36 exp rolls. I typically shoot it at EI200. It works at ISO400 as well but I only tried to push it once, and that didn't turn out too well.

When I lived in Los Angeles, Freestyle was my favorite place to get film. They often had partial cans for sale cheap, but you would need to call and ask what they have. I doubt they would list partials on the web site.

Now I'm in Florida and Freestyle isn't right down the street, so I order from B&H mostly.
