K2 prism replacement

Hello,

I am thinking of acquiring a K2 at a very low cost. All the functions seem to be working. The only problem is that the prism needs replacing.

Does anybody here know if I could use the K1000 prism (or a prism from other K series bodies) as a replacement? I should be able to find non-working bodies for parts.

Thanks!

IIRC Pentax advertised the K2 as having a special silver coating on the pentaprism,
though it doesn't seem any brighter than other K series bodies to me.

I'm not sure about interchangeability. To be safe I'd look for a non-working K2 parts body...
