What's kind of amusing to me is this part:
Quote: The brand name was changed to Mingca MCK-1000 due to a trade mark dispute with Guangzhou Camera factory that made Pearl River brand cameras back in 1950's.
The "Pearl River S-207" (why 207? I have no idea), is clearly a reference to the Pearl River S-201, a Nikon F2 copy* that was produced in the late-'70s, and which the Ming Camera Factory helped produced back when it was still based in Mingguang.
(The S-201's on my list of cameras I'd like to own, but the price tends to be more than I'd like to pay when I do spot one.)
* But with a Minolta mount!
