Happy 40th birthday to 3 beautiful bodies and happy birthday to an amazing chunk of glass.
Some film shots to follow soon, when I finally connect my scanners to my new computer.

Ya seen one 50/1.2, ya seen 'em all.

Instead show me your M35/1.4.
Now that would be something!

I have 11 of those lesnses......and glad I do ! Think maybe a Film shoot to celebrate is in order here.
I have 9 10. I missed the 45~125. I also have the 24/2.8 and 200/2.5.

'K on Film' would be lots of fun. Maybe it should be a Social Group with a kind of One Lens orientation.

I actually have a flatbed scanner I've never used and a full darkroom all boxed up. Hmmmmmm

Trivia:

The bridge is the "Lions Gate" in Vancouver and the shot was taken from the Stanley Park seawall. Still looks basically the same 40 years later, from a distance anyways..

Pretty sure that both the K 35/1.4 and the A 35/1.4 would have turned up on e-bay by now if they got longer than to the prototype stage. Wasn't there a K 20/1.4 as well?

I've handled a Nikon 300mm f2. It is a beastly thing of beauty. It's used on motion pictures in Hollywood.
