My MZ-S is safe for 6 additional months

I have a few film bodies but realistically see the upcoming FF as a replacement to my MZ-S. I was hoping to buy a year or so after release so the new announcement of spring 2016 pushes that out.

The MZ-S honestly feels like a K5 or whatever the way I use it. Autofocus, high shutter speeds, no film advance lever. Of course I can't chimp shots and have to spend a little effort developing and scanning...

I won't ever want to get rid of my manual bodies, the film advance, the feel, the size etc are all incredible but I just can't drum up the same enthusiasm about the MZ-S, when a FF becomes available.

It goes in my MX just fine :-)

I only ever use my MZ-S for people photos (well kid photos) so the argument for me is I won't be able to load Portra 400 :-)

I am expecting a gently used FA 43 next week so the MZ-S will have a lot of film run through in the next 6 months in any case!

Ten years from now when I finally relent the first Pentax full-frame DSLR should sell for about $100 used.
There are major advantages to being a late adopter and bottom feeder!

Nevermind... keeping it! I can't imagine the digital can handle bright conditions like these with as much grace as film.

I just got the 43 from a forum member. How the heck does it look like a wide angle and portrait lens at the same time? Amazing lens.

Shot these this Sunday.

Nice shots! That 43mm is definitely in better hands now - being used as it deserves to be (often, well, and FF).
