Wow, great story to go with a excellent photo.
For a bit of fun, see if you can find one man without a hat, or a woman present, in the picture.

Congratulations, a 6x7 slide show is hard to beat! Using a 6x7 projector myself.

I have three film camera systems in regular use:
1) Linhof Technika Studienkamera 70 6x9, used with 6x7 roll film back and a 100mm f/5.6 Schneider-Kreuznach Symmar-S
2) Pentax 67II with five Pentax lenses and a Schneider-Kreuznach M-Componon 80mm f/4.0 for macro work
3) Leica MP (2x) with five Leica lenses.

Looked briefly and saw neither. Your challenge seems to imply that they are there. Thanks for sharing this photo, it is a beauty, I believe. I sometimes wonder if I try to read too much into these old photo's. I see a lot of men, very dressed up, with hats. A scene that one just does not see in today's world. What all has changed? What were they thinking then? What do we think now? Are we progressing, in a way, or regressing? Hmmmm.......

Hey 6x7, Where do you get slide mounts for 6x7? I see that B&H has 6x6 Gepe anti-newton glass slide mounts but nothing for 6x7.

I use Hama ProSlide AV 6x7 mounts. I think they are discontinued but I bought a lifetime supply years ago. I store the mounted slides in Kunze Journal 6x7 boxes. Again, I bought a lifetime supply years ago. But they still seem to be available.

Here is a second picture of the same scene. I think I saw one man near top left facing without a hat. Until the fifties, you were not properly dressed without your hat. You may have to zoom in on Flicker

Steve, thank you for that link to the OPB video! That was definitely a worthwhile watch.

I've spread out over a few systems lately from just being a K user originally.

Pentax K: SuperP (don't use much), MX (my favorite), and *ist (use pretty often).
M42: Spottie F (meter inop. but has a half shot roll in it from 2 years ago), SV (shelf art), and 2 Zenits that see very sparing use. 2 Tak 35 3.5's and a Yashica 50 1.4.
Canon EF: EOS 7 for eye-control AF and *silent* lenses with my 40 2.8 and 28-105 II (used fairly often).
Minolta AF: Alpha-7 with the gorgeous rear panel display with my 50 1.7, 35-70 4, and Tamron SP 20-40 (used often).

Odds and ends: Zorki Mir LTM w/ Jupiter 8 (rewind selection doesn't engage right), some film P+S's, Instax Mini 90 (party favorite), Holga 120 +135.

I added two new systems in the past week, a Minolta from the 60s with a better lens and a Canon Elan without a lens. I found a home for the Canon, a digital shooter I know who uses Canons but I think has an older pentax k mount film camera.

Truth be told, the TRENDY consumers actually want a film camera. DSLRs are so bourgeoisie.

K-50 and K-3, the DA Limiteds, other DA lenses
Almost every Pentax K film body with dozens of lenses, accessories, and several flashes
Nikon D70 full-spectrum for infrared with several DX lenses
Nikon F & FM with several AI and Pre-AI lenses and flashes
Pentax 645 with several lenses and flash
Mamiya C2 & C22 with most of the lenses and some accessories
Kodak Medalist II with multiple Series VI accessories & filters
Polaroid Automatic 100 Land Camera with multiple attachments and synchronized electronic flash.
The other two-dozen aren't system cameras. Most of them are stand-alone 120/620 cameras with flashbulb units.
I'm trading my Mamiya 6x6 TLR gear for some Koni-Omega 6x7 gear. I guess that keeps me at the same number of systems, but I will no longer have a "professional" 6x6 system. I have a Hasselblad 500-ELX that is so moldy that its previous owner gave it to me for free. Perhaps I can make something of it (besides a lamp).

I started with a Topcon system in the early 1970's. Used Super D with a 58/1.8 from Olden Camera. Now have all the RE. Auto-Topcor and R. Topcor lenses. Pretty much in retirement now.
Then a Leica IIIa that I bought at our church's rummage sale. Have gotten to having period lenses from 28mm to 135mm. Still my favorite travel camera, small and light.
Then a Canon IIF that spawned into a IV-SB2 and 7s, with a nice set of Canon RF lenses.
Got a Pentax *ist DS2 to get into digital, it spawned an MX, MZ-3, *ist, and LX, and a nice set of Pentax-A and Pentax-FA prime lenses. Now waiting to buy the full-frame K-1, as color film processing prices are going insane.

Time for some fun (and my apologies if this is a resurrection of an old thread)...

Many of us film heads may on occasion go nuts on the bay or some other outlet, or otherwise get non-Pentax urges. These are normal, all people get them (I mean the urges, not necessarily the cameras), but not all become mount-promiscuous.

So, an informal poll: how many and what film camera systems / mounts do you have - you must have at least one body and at least two lenses for it.

---------- Post added 10-23-2015 at 09:39 AM ----------

Mine:
1. Leica Screw Mount
2. M42
3. Contax RF
4. Miranda PAD
5. Nikon F
6. Pentax K
7. Minolta MD
8. Olympus OM

+ unofficially the RB Graflex, as I have used multiple lenses on it + the Miranda extension tubes.
Hi,

1. Asahiflex - Do not use
2. Asahi Pentax M42 - Use
3. Pentax K film - Use
4. Pentax K digital - Use
5.Pentax 645 film - Use
6. Pentax 6x7 - Use
7. K.L. Briggs 5x4 Copy camera - Do not use, but should!

Regards.
