I love the color cast that the K24 puts into the picture... Not sure that some soft corners don't help a picture in a large number of cases, etc.
Not only do I agree with these statements, Jamey, but I also think that the "legacy glass is outresolved by sensor" argument is likely false for most lenses. The results I've seen from the use of these lenses on FF Sony e-mount cameras looks quite good to me... look at pinholecam's posts in
this thread.
Further, many of today's lenses are digitally corrected at the time of the shot, so we never really know how good these lenses might actually be.
The only aggravation I've had with some of my K/M lenses on APSC so far has been the purple fringing, which thankfully now is a fix that involves one or two clicks in Lightroom.
Oh, and though I wouldn't call myself a "filmie" since I'm kind of new to film, I've pre-ordered a K-1 and intend to follow through.
