Mx Light meter problem.

Hello,
I got an used Pentax MX with 50mm 1.4 lens. The led in the viewfinder is working but the transparent shutter dial is not moving. Could any one help me to fix the problem!

That dial not moving should not affect your light meter. It's function is separate from the light meter. Get a manual from Butkus. Remove the focusing screen and re-insert it and see if the shutter speed indicator moves. If not, repairing the problem takes a lot of dis-assembly.
