My travel/street gear

I have been lately experimenting with new-to-me combo's of bodies/lenses/films in order to find a setup that suits me well for my travels and "street photos". I believe I have finally found what I was looking for!

For the time being (but it might change in a future), in my travel bag there are SuperProgram + SMC K 28mm F3.5 or SMC K 35 F3.5 + SMC K 55mm F1.8 + a bunch of Adox CHM 400 rolls (to be pushed to 800). And I am very happy

During the last three weaks or so, I have visited:

- Bordeaux, France

- San Sebastian, Spain

- Copenhagen, Denmark

- My hometown, Zaragoza, Spain

And many, many more will come...

I'd prefer M or A lenses for that sort of setup/use, but the Ks are so excellent it could be worth the trade-off. Some excellent shots! Love several of them! Good luck and happy travels!! I'm envious! Too long since I've been on a journey of that kind.

Nice shots. I'd love to get into street. It gives me a weird feeling seeing people on cell phones in B&W film.

Lovely shots and the Super Program/Super A is an excellent camera, probably my favourite Pentax body for everyday use. Keep up the brilliant work!

I dont necessarily need the A functionality and the K 35/3.5 and 55/1.8 lenses are quite compact, so they couple very well with the SP body. Agree though on the K 28/3.5 which is kinda big and heavy. Perhaps the small A28/2.8 might be a better compromise. Oh well

Though maybe even the K24/2.8 - I just picked it up and have been really loving it. And, I don't think it's any bigger than most M series glass. At any rate - I wouldn't worry. I think you're doing fine.

Great set. Been on the lookout for the 35mm f3.5 it looks to be a wonderful little gem. Contrast and the processing in black and white is really well done TFS

I posted somewhere my current "street" setup, which consists of my LX, the K50mm f1.2, M35mm f2.8, K24mm f2.8, M85mm f2,a A 35-210 mm and a flash AF280T

Besides the zoom the kit is relatively compact and covers almost all the situations I can face indoor and outdoor.
