Battery cap for KX

Hi, this is my first post here. Delighted to be a member. I have somehow managed to lose the battery cap/cover for my KX. I have searched eBay and found caps for the K1000 and some of the M series - will any of those fit my KX?

have looked at the ones on ebay for the MX, they look the same as the one in my KX, the K1000 ones don't have the plastic sides for holding the batteries.

K2 also has the plastic sleeve. They aren't really necessary. Sometimes a beater / broken parts camera is cheaper than the single replacement part.

I will look in my bin and see if I have a spare that fits the KX. If I find one, you can have it. I will know by tomorrow.

I have looked in several boxes. I have not found any spare battery covers yet. I did find a battery cover for a Nikon F3 and a rangefinder port cover for an Argus C3 though...
I will keep looking, but it could take time, as I just moved a couple months ago and stuff is still in mystery boxes.

I think that some K1000 battery covers would not be interchangeable between other K1000.
And no plastic sides on my K1000 covers either.
