I currently have two Spotmatic bodies. One was bought to see what the fuss was about and the other came as excess (to me) baggage on the back of a lens I bought dirt cheap. Both have relatively fresh batteries in them; both have had at least one roll of film put through them in the last 12 months with reasonable results. The meters appear to be reliable. One is an Asahi; the other is a Honeywell.
Both are redundant to my purposes, as I currently have a Spotmatic F (with open aperture metering) and an S1a (independent of batteries), and these
(ETA to clarify, the standard Spotmatics) now sit awkwardly in the middle, unused, unwanted, but deserving of a good and appreciative home and a user who understands the quirks of the metering system when compared against K-mount bodies.
PM me with your address and tell me which one you want.
