This shot is something I've considered printing large, but still have not because it isn't quite what I want, because I'm being quite picky - the view is incredibly important to me. The problem is that getting it exactly as I want is difficult because I'm no longer anywhere near this area. This is coming into the Cowiche area, where I grew up, just outside of Yakima in WA state. This is a scene that is forever burned into my mind, traveling this route an endless number of times as a kid in the car coming back from town. Each time I go over there I look for 'the shot' and I've yet to totally find it for a number of reasons. But a few, like this one have come close.

This is very like the Kennebecasis River valley near Sussex, NB.

Scanned this yesterday. Currently have no plans to print it, but I think it would print very nicely.

This is a shot worthy of Elliot Porter.

Interesting. Though I think though the photo is deceptive. The green in particular. The area is very much desert before slowly rising up (toward the sun and top left of frame) into arid Easter WA pine forest.

ill add more as I get to it, sharing from Flickr on mobile is cumbersome at best.

This is a 2-shot panoramic taken with my old Yashica 35GSN on Ektar 100 in the Red Rocks park near Las Vegas.

I've been wanting to make a large print of this shot the last while...
Was taken in the Gifford Pinchot here in Washington. MX with FA43 on RVP100F.

Thanks. And, indeed. It had been years since I took that road - in fact the last time I did it hadn't yet been paved... though by the state of the north side of it, it could stand some attention again. It's trying desperately to UNpave itself.
Yeah that was in the summer 2015.... can't recall if the Adams wilderness fire was raging yet, but I don't think it even was. There were so many that year.
Another looking NW...

Old favorite

This is an old film shot from a road trip in the late '90s. My wife and I were on a trip to the New England coast and happened on this little harbor town, Camden, ME.

It was an amazing place with beautiful light and amazing history.
