Awesome! Did you make any of those other stops? Glad you got some good weather.
That looks like a view down the lake toward Storm King from the park at the West end, no?

Many of my favourite film photos come from my Yashica Mat 124G, a really wonderful camera to use. There are no special stories, they're just photos from my travels.

Fuji 160NS converted to B&W in PP:

Portra 160NC (expired) using a close-up adaptor:

Thanks Kevin.
With the way the weather and the trip schedule worked out, we didn't get a chance to go to any of the other stops.
We mostly had a lot of rain throughout the trip. The day we drove from Aberdeen to Port Angeles was really the nicest day of the trip, but we had to make the 2:00 pm ferry, so we couldn't stop much.

Glad you were at least treated to a good day at Crescent and a pleasant ride across the Straight.

I chuckled a little on this one. If the ferry was the Coho to Victoria, one prays there is no prevailing swell across the beam. The Coho likes to roll.

This shot I did develop, wet print and hung on my kitchen wall. Its not a stunning shot but it represents a really good memory. My wife and I were in Paris. We had a great day followed by a fantastic meal. It was a warm summer night and after the meal we walked through the Montmartre area of Paris where we were staying. The streets were still buzzing and these street singers were entertaining the crowds. They were quite good and we stopped and listened for about 45 minutes.
It was shot handheld on my ME super with M50 f/1.7 lens, Neopan 1600 pushed to 3200.

This was shot on Fujichrome Provia 100 with a 400mm lens attached to a Z-1 looking down on South Africa's Maitland River mouth area at sunset - I've always like the fishermen silhouetted against the wet sand reflecting the sunset

Scanned this yesterday. Currently have no plans to print it, but I think it would print very nicely.

Very much agreed.

This shot is something I've considered printing large, but still have not because it isn't quite what I want, because I'm being quite picky - the view is incredibly important to me. The problem is that getting it exactly as I want is difficult because I'm no longer anywhere near this area. This is coming into the Cowiche area, where I grew up, just outside of Yakima in WA state. This is a scene that is forever burned into my mind, traveling this route an endless number of times as a kid in the car coming back from town. Each time I go over there I look for 'the shot' and I've yet to totally find it for a number of reasons. But a few, like this one have come close.
