Thats just it. When exposed properly, Tri X has a real fine grain...

That last image you posted looks good.

Here are a few more Tri -X
Proper exposer...


Slightly underexposed...Shows a little more grain.


About a full stop underexposed, still shows more grain.

fine grain - who needs fine grain if I can't see it

For what its worth, I converted using Virtual Photographer's 'classic' setting - ASA 400 grain and a green shift.
