All fun set aside: this is just a plastic shop window model. It's "Made in Japan" as a sticker on the back says. It's actually quite light, and made of the same material as plastic carnival masks. It breaks easily. The lens is made of hard plastic with the yellowing already built-in. I doubt if the UV treatment will cure it though
As far as I know, not many were left. There should be at least one more in the hands of a collector, but that's it. I'll try to keep mine as pristine as possible, but sadly plastic always breaks down. Especially plastic this old; the model comes from the early 70's so it is almost as old as I am.
