wow, I have never seen tri-x look like that. That grain is not very pleasant. Still, I like the effort and it is good to see what old film looks like and for that bravo!

I'm really surprised by how little grain there is.

The whole roll turned out grainier than I expected, but it wasn't underexposed.

Zav-

That B&W shot has to be medium format, right?

Fuji 400H, B&W conversion, SP1000, Pentacon Electric 1.8/50mm - the lens focuses very close

Nesster- Great one. You see 1001 macro bee shots a day. This one stands out as something really unique with the camera/film/lens combo you're using. Great composition. Not an easy shot to pull off, I'm guessing.

Jake, jgredline, I'm afraid my answer is disappointing. The B&W photo was taken with a MZ-50 (ZX-50 in the US) and FA 77 ltd lens.

PS: Has anyone yet tried the Fuji Natura 1600?

I'm surprised. It's way sharp for 1600. Is that typical of this film or is it the contrast of the photo creating an illusion?

I don't really have an answer, it's my first roll of Neopan. Of course, I think the contrast is partly responsible.
Here is another example of Neopan 1600:
