So I was going thru some 1979-87 Magazines for Camera Ads

Started scanning a bunch of the pages, basically removing the staples so I wouldn't have to cut/tear any of the sheets, along with some other scans I'm using for an upcoming collage.

The full album of the camera gear scans (Canon, Olympus, Minolta, Leica, Hasselblad, Mamiya, Rollei, Pentax, and so on) can be seen here : American Photographer Scans '79-'87 Camera Ads - Album on Imgur

Here's the Pentax ones and a couple others :

Neat! The SF-1 was sold by us as the SFX. The updated model was the SF-1n or SFXn. On that, the LCD could light up.

I bought an LX a number of years ago and the seller threw in a portfolio of brochures, catalogs, and manuals. Some of it dates from the mid-80s. One of the items is a Kodak Master Photoguide (AR-21). It's like a small field manual on exposure settings for Kodak's film stocks from the time, published in 1975. It has wheels to spin around for various scenes, flash types, etc. Interesting stuff.

That is too cruel - all those gorgeous lenses. I couldn't afford them then and I sure as hell can't afford them now.

Thanks for those scans!
Here's what I did with the first one to remind me every time I pick up my phone.

Thanks for the Olympus OM4T ad as it was an issue I haven't gotten. It will go good with my OM4T+F280 . . .

>>>Larger version

BTW, after I acquired my original AP, I also acquired a magazine ad for it.

>>>Larger version

I didn't think it did it justice so I took a shot of my AP in similar perspective and superimposed it on the ad.

>>>Larger version
