NEwbie help

How do i open the back of my Pentax ME to load film?? GOnna feel stoopid but i have to ask ha

seriously tho, you flick the lever out on the right hand side, and pull UP on it.

rewind crank lift it and i think there is a button (looks like a pin at the bottom) press that at the same time...i haven't had one since '81

I actually just threw out my manual a few weeks ago ME super.

lift the rewind crank and the back opens.
The button on the bottom is for rewinding at the end - push it in and it releases the gearing so you can use the crank to rewind.

Go to page 10 in the Pentax ME manual. http://pentax-manuals.com/manuals/mf/pentax_me_manual_s.pdf
There are pictures. Might be some other useful information in the manual.

Not too long ago in this forum had a question on how to "rewind" the film. Can you believe it? Got the film in, took the pictures, couldn't rewind the film. Don't remember which model, but I noticed your ME is just like my Spotmatic for rewind.
