1970's KX

Dear Pentax Form,
I just got my late fathers Pentax KX. It's been sitting for many years. After a few hours of struggling I was able to get the old batteries out & get rid of the corrosion.

There seems to be some dirt specks inside, I don't have the owners manual & want to remove the lens, but I'm afraid of not following the right steps & man handling it & breaking it.

I'll second the welcome, second the manuals website (the site owner is an internet friend) and highly recommend Eric Hendrickson. He's done 15 cameras for me over the years. I received my first KX in 1977 and it is still my sentimental favorite film camera.

If you still have trouble removing your lens after you download the manual please come back or PM for help
